This page is intended as a guide and reference regarding the various Gameplay Mechanics found within Master of Ives. It's possible it may need to be split up into different categories in the future if it gets too large (such as: Ive related mechanics (Stats, Sparks, Evolutions, Cards) and Dream related mechanics (Dream Ives, Fantasies, Echo Types, Ive vs Master Experience, Boosters).
Autoplay mode allows the Main Ive of the Dream to collect chains of Echoes and activate Fantasies on their own without your input. However, while it is called Autoplay, it is more of a co-op mode - one where you and your Ive can work together, connecting chains of Echoes simultaneously. In fact, this is the intended mode of play and many difficult missions can only be completed by working together with your Main Ive.
Most Ives must be Level 3 before they can use Autoplay. Kristina is an exception to this, as she can use Autoplay at Level 1.
There may be times where you want to turn Autoplay off. Some missions require, or at least are easier, when making very long chains of Echoes or when activating Fantasies at just the right moment. In these situations, you don't want your Ive clearing Echoes you're saving for a long chain, or triggering a Fantasy before its time.
Autoplay can be toggled on and off during a Dream. |
Autoplay is always enabled by default at the start of a Dream. However, you can change it to default to off in your Settings.
Boosters can be activated after the Ive selection screen and will be deducted at the start of the Dream, after you click the "Play" button. Leaving the Dream or retrying the round will not refund the used boosters.

Cards are used to unlock and evolve Ives, making them more powerful and bringing them closer to their true form. The most common way of collecting cards is by drawing them from IveBoxes. They can also be found as rewards for various missions, events and achievements. You can also use an EvoBook which can be converted into Cards for a specific Ive - the number of Cards varies based on the rarity of the Ive.
Once an Ive has reached their highest Evolution, any further cards earned can be converted into Diamonds or stored to be used as temporary boosts to the Ive's stats to help in completing difficult missions. There is a cap on the number of Diamonds that can be acquired from extra Cards. Rare and Epic Ives cap at 50 combined Diamonds for the day, once you go over 50 Diamonds any future extra Cards are stored to use for boosts. A single Legendary or Elusive card can also be converted into Diamonds, after that all extra cards are stored for temporary boosts. If you get both an extra Legendary and extra Elusive card, you get the Diamonds for the Elusive Card.
Creating 3+ Chains of identical Echoes is the main mechanic of the gameplay. 4+ Chains also yield Coins.
Score and Coins depend on factors such as Chain lenght. The longer the better - however, capping exists. (to be updated with precise data)
Getting an x-lenght chain is subject to different missions (in every Game Mode) and also achievements.
Combo is a mechanic that activates by sucesfully building Chains in a succesive and speedy manner.
A combo duration is approximately 5 seconds; after this period, the combo build-up will be lost and restarted from 0.
Higher combos impove the score obtained from chains.
Combos do not end during Orgasm time.
These are the Ives that join you in a Dream. You are able to select up to two of them, one of them is determined by the mission, and the reset are selected at random. Only one Ive from each color/kink can influence a Dream. Among the Dream Ives, there are three roles of importance: Main Ive, Mission Ive, and Favorite Ive. All three can be different Ives, or all three roles can be assigned to the same Ive.
The Main Ive's stats are slightly influenced by the Mission Ive and Favourite Ive. They can be observed in the "Stats" tab, after the "+" sign.
The Ive you choose to play. It is generally constraied by mission requirements (except in Eden mode)
The Ive which the mission reffers to. Ives have special missions, which are dedicated to them.
The Ive you choose to make "Favourite". You do so by clicking the Heart icon in her profile.
Echoes are fragments of the Ives' lost identities. They represent the true self of the Ive. They are represented by the bubbles inside the Dream which are correlated to the Ives present in that Dream.
Echo Color & Class | Ives |
---|---|
Submission | Charlotte, Lucy, Ada, Maria, Emily |
Stimulation | Jennifer, Luna, Micah, Maya, Olivia, Sarah, Gina |
Domination | Hilda, Aylin, Jin, Patricia, Vilja, Ahmya, Lisa |
Perversion | Kristina, Astrid, Aya, Claire, Katya, Leia |
Love | Irenee, Nur, Ying, Nahla, Rosa, Zoe, Sophia |
There are two types of Experience that can be gained in Master of Ives: Master Experience and Ive Experience.
Master Experience: This experience increases your Master Level, which provides bonuses to your Dream Score, and unlocking higher Master Levels also grants you Diamonds as rewards. This is also the experience that is often referred to in game as EXP. EXP Magic Echoes boost this type of experience. Ives with a high EXP stat grant more Master Experience during Dreams. Missions requiring EXP gains are measuring Master Experience.
Ive Experience: This is the experience that allows your Ives to increase their level. The amount of experience an Ive gains from a Dream is the count of all the Echoes collected for that specific Ive within the Dream. However, the Main Ive will get bonus experience if they are also assigned as the Mission and/or Favorite Ive for that Dream. It requires a little more than 1,500,000 experience to level an Ive from level 1 to level 50.
Each Ive has their own Fantasy that can be activated during the Dream to manipulate the Dream in some way. Each Ive's Fantasy is unique, though they all fall into a set of categories. Some Ives' Fantasy incorporate more than one type of Fantasy.
Fantasies are triggered by collecting Main Echoes - Echoes that match your Main Ive for that Dream. Each Main Echo collected fills up the Fantasy Meter, represented by a circle that surrounds the Fantasy button in the dream. Once the circle is completed, the Ive's maximum strength Fantasy can be triggered.
Partially filling the meter allows for lower level Fantasies to be activated. |
The number of Main Echoes required to fill the meter varies between Ives and the Fantasy stat can reduce the number of Echoes required to fill the meter.
Each time an Ive is Evolved, the number of Echoes required to charge to a previously unlocked Fantasy is reduced and a new, more powerful Fantasy is available. Sometimes this will mean that the Ive now requires more Echoes to reach a fully charged Fantasy than they did at a lower EVO state.
Example: At EVO1, Paula requires 15 echoes to charge her level 1 Fantasy. At EVO2, Paula's level 1 Fantasy only requires 13 echoes, but reaching her new level 2 Fantasy requires 6 more Echoes - for a total of 19 echoes for a full charge.
However, at higher Evolutions it is possible that the reduction in Echoes from lower Fantasies more than offsets the additional cost of the new Fantasy.
Example: At EVO4, Maya requires 31 Echoes to fully charge her level 4 Fantasy. At EVO5, it takes Maya 30 Echoes to fully charge to her level 5 Fantasy. Not only do her level 1-4 Fantasies require fewer Echoes than they did previously, but her new, more powerful level 5 Fantasy charges faster than her level 4 Fantasy did at EVO4.
Evolving an Ive unlocks a higher tier version of their Fantasy and grants a significant boost in their stats. While all of their stats improve, their Primary and Specialty stats get a larger boost, with their Specialty stat getting the biggest boost. The number of Cards and Diamonds required to evolve an Ive varies by their current evolution level and rarity.
Ives are leveled up using Ive experience gained in Dreams and Coins. Additionally, giving an Ive a Mushroom will grant them 10,000 experience. Each individual level increases one or more stats by a small amount, usually only +1. While all of an Ive's stats will gradually increase as they level, the majority of the points will go to the Ive's Primary and Specialty stats. Level 50 is the highest level in the game and requires close to 1,500,000 experience to reach.
There are 8 main stats whch are found in the list below.
Each Ive has a default distribution of stat points. Evo and leveling add points to those stats.
More than that, each Ive has a Specialty Stat, a skill which long-term-wise is her main one, in which she ends up having most points. That stat is visibly showed in her "Stats" tab, being highlighted with a light ray.
Each Ive will have around 2 high stats, 4 medium stats and 2 low stats.
Orgasm is generated during the Dream by connecting Chains in a fast manner and building Combo. During the Orgasm time, the screen will slightly change and the score value will enter the triangle-shaped love pool at the bottom of the screen instead of going to the score displayed at the top.
After the orgasm ends, the score collected in the pool will be tripled.
Certain Ive, such as Emily has a Orgasm-focused Fantasy. After her Fantasy is charged up, she can instantly start an Orgasm.
Monster Manifestation represents a gameplay mechanic specific to the late game, which applies to the following Ives, regardless if they are Main Ive, Favourite Ive, Mission Ive or an extra, random Ive:
After this stage, Ives reveal their true nature, they transform from human form to a Monster form.
The Epic, Legendary and Elusive Ives that are over EVO 4 are now able to assist in the Dream by using their specific EVO Fantasy, creating something like a "tag team". This mechanic enhances overall gameplay and brings in better overall Dream results.
This also enables a new UI indicator in the top right of the screen where the Fantasy bar for the assisting Ives appears and can be tracked. In order to trigger the Monster Manifestation Fantasies, you need the following number of Main Echoes popped for that specific Ive:
To explain in depth, below you can see a snippet of the UI when Monster Manifestation is active.
Here we have Nahla as Main Ive and Olivia and Aylin are both over EVO 4 and able to assist her during the Dream - after their bar is charged by popping their specific Echoes, they will trigger their fantasies.
Lucy has her normal bar. Being a Rare Ive, she is not part of Monster Manifestation.
Completing certain challenges that involve H-actions with the Ive generate "Knowledge Sparks" for that particular Ive.
Sparks can be obtained in the following ways and they require mission/task progression:
The Sparks menu is accesible in the "Ives" menu, on the Ives profile. Clicking on them opens a similar one to the Evolving and Leveling screen.
Sparks need to be obtained since they are necessary for tasks such as "Complete using an Ive with X Sparks" in the Genesis, Chase and Kama Bingo modes. To complete the tasks, you simply need to have those Sparks. Assigning the Sparks is a different topic.
You can asign Sparks after Player Level 10.
Assigning them is only available alter in the game since it involves a rolling-type mechanism as a Spark can randomly level one of the eight Ive Stats. It costs coins to distribute a Spark - starting with 1000 Coins and quickly increasing in costs when you distribute more.
Given that stat distribution of Sparks is random, not ALL rolls will increase a desired stat on that Specific Ive, some of them becoming useless (ex. getting a Combo point stat on Maya, as her focus is Coin making). Re-rolling a Spark currently has too high of a Diamond cost to be sustainable.
Quantom Evolution is a game mechanic introduced in Genesis Chapter 4 (Mission Ive: Kristina). It involves a temporary evolution of the Ive from their final EVO Stage (3 for Rares, 5 for Epic, Legendary and Elusive) to EVO Stages 4 (for Rares) and 6 (for Epic, Legendary and Elusive).
Quantom Evolution gives the Ive increased stats for a specific duration and comes at an EVO Card cost together with a Diamond Cost.
Remember that Evo Cards used from Quantum Evolution can only be recieved from the Ive Boxes, with two prerequisite conditions: the Ive is maximum EVO stage and the user already recieved their daily amount of Diamonds.
Rarity | Diamond Cost | Evo Card Cost | Duration |
---|---|---|---|
Rare | x30 | x5 | 10 Dreams |
Epic | x50 | x3 | 16 Dreams |
Legendary | x75 | x2 | 18 Dreams |
Elusive | x100 | x1 | 20 Dreams |
You can see your available EVO Cards in the Ives tab, in the leftside upper corner. In this example case, we own 11 Evo Card and if we have the necessary diamonds, we can Quantum Evolve Maya 3 times.
After you Quantom Evolve an Ive, it will show a tracker of her remaining Dreams in this state.
